Thanksgiving

Well how was everyone's Thanksgiving Holiday this year? Mine was pretty good for David and mine first thanksgiving! We ended up having Nana, Aaron, Bear, Loraine, Donnie, Wayne, Bubba, Hunter, Davids Dad, his girlfriend and His girlfriends daughter all over. I would say that is a success! 

Everyone left that night except for Donnie, Loraine, and Bear. We were supposed to have Nana and Aaron that night also but they changed their minds. It would have been better to have them stay a little longer considering we don't get to see them often but everything happens for a reason I suppose. 

Anyways, David fried a turkey this year, which was my very first time trying a fried turkey! He also baked a  ham that him and Wayne bought together and sliced up for us. It was pretty good as well. For the sides we had: stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, fresh cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole. For dessert I made: a fresh apple pie and a cherry pie. David made a 7-up cake that was delish! Also, Nana brought a pumpkin cheesecake. 

It was a splendid afternoon!

Everyone was stuffed by 5pm and was ready to leave to all go home!

Later that night I decided to meet up with a friend from work to go check out my first ever Black Friday sale at the local Walmart! It was crazy! I have never been but it was a mad house. I didn't have anything in particular to get, just was there to keep my friend company and try to find her kids some bikes! We ended up not getting them but we did find some other killer deals. She bought some sweatpants, as well as I, she also got some nighties for her nephew and a build-a-bear set for her niece. I got some DVDS and a WII game. 

Well its almost midnight and I'm wore out! So I am going to hit the shower and then hit the sack and maybe watch a movie with the FH.
